By accessing or using TaxSaveIQ, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.

  • self-employment income;
  • capital gains;
  • qualified dividends;
  • deductions;
  • tax credits;
  • 401(k), IRA, HSA, FSA, and dependent care FSA contributions;
  • business tax planning;
  • S-Corp planning;
  • self-employment tax;
  • retirement contribution planning;
  • saved scenarios;
  • month-to-month and year-to-year planning features;
  • CPA export summaries;
  • future AI-assisted explanations;

Features may change, be added, removed, delayed, limited, suspended, or discontinued at any time.

3. Educational Use Only

TaxSaveIQ is provided solely for educational and informational purposes. TaxSaveIQ does not provide:

  • tax advice;
  • legal advice;
  • accounting advice;
  • investment advice;
  • financial advice;
  • retirement advice;
  • payroll advice;
  • employee benefits advice;
  • business formation advice;
  • IRS representation;
  • tax return preparation;
  • tax filing services;

Nothing on TaxSaveIQ should be treated as professional advice or as a recommendation to take or avoid any tax, legal, investment, business, payroll, benefits, or financial action. You should consult a qualified CPA, enrolled agent, tax attorney, financial advisor, payroll provider, benefits administrator, or other licensed professional before making decisions.

4. No Professional Relationship

Use of TaxSaveIQ does not create a:

  • CPA-client relationship;
  • attorney-client relationship;
  • enrolled-agent-client relationship;
  • fiduciary relationship;
  • advisor-client relationship;
  • tax-preparer-client relationship;
  • accountant-client relationship;
  • consultant-client relationship;
  • professional-client relationship;

Saving a scenario, downloading a report, using a calculator, viewing an explanation, or contacting us does not create a professional engagement unless a separate written agreement is signed by Wealth Building Academy LLC.

5. No Tax Return Preparation or Filing

TaxSaveIQ is not tax preparation software and does not prepare, review, sign, submit, transmit, amend, or file tax returns or tax forms. We do not file with:

  • the IRS;
  • state tax departments;
  • local tax agencies;
  • payroll agencies;
  • benefit agencies;
  • courts;
  • government authorities;

TaxSaveIQ does not guarantee that its calculations match any tax return, tax software, payroll system, CPA calculation, IRS transcript, or state agency calculation.

6. User Accounts

Some TaxSaveIQ features may require a user account, including:

  • saving calculator scenarios;
  • accessing the dashboard;
  • viewing saved scenarios;
  • carrying data year-to-year;
  • future reports;
  • future paid features;

You agree to provide accurate and current account information. You are responsible for:

  • maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;
  • all activity under your account;
  • promptly notifying us of unauthorized use;
  • logging out from shared devices;
  • using a secure password;

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create security, legal, operational, or reputational risk.

7. Saved Scenarios and User Data

If you save a scenario, TaxSaveIQ may store calculator inputs, outputs, scenario names, tax years, filing status, state selections, tax estimates, contribution fields, and related data in your account. Saved scenarios are provided for convenience and educational comparison only.

You are responsible for:

  • reviewing saved information;
  • correcting inaccurate inputs;
  • not entering unnecessary sensitive information;
  • deleting information you no longer want stored;
  • verifying all outputs with qualified professionals;

TaxSaveIQ is not intended to store:

  • Social Security numbers;
  • taxpayer identification numbers;
  • full tax returns;
  • IRS notices;
  • tax transcripts;
  • bank account numbers;
  • credit card numbers;
  • government ID numbers;
  • medical records;
  • payroll files;
  • client files;
  • highly sensitive documents;

8. User Responsibility for Inputs

TaxSaveIQ calculations depend on user-entered information. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of all information you enter. Incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or misunderstood inputs may produce incorrect or misleading results. We do not independently verify user inputs.

9. Calculator Limitations

TaxSaveIQ calculators are simplified educational models. Actual tax outcomes may differ due to many factors, including:

  • filing status;
  • dependents;
  • credits;
  • deductions;
  • phaseouts;
  • AMT;
  • NIIT;
  • self-employment tax;
  • Additional Medicare Tax;
  • payroll taxes;
  • withholding;
  • estimated tax penalties;
  • state and local taxes;
  • residency rules;
  • part-year residency;
  • nonresident sourcing;
  • retirement plan rules;
  • employer plan restrictions;
  • HSA eligibility;
  • FSA plan rules;

You agree not to rely solely on TaxSaveIQ for any financial, tax, legal, accounting, investment, payroll, benefits, or business decision.

10. Tax Optimizer Limitations

TaxSaveIQ may identify possible tax-saving or contribution opportunities, including:

  • 401(k);
  • IRA;
  • HSA;
  • FSA;
  • dependent care FSA;
  • S-Corp planning;
  • business deductions;
  • home office deduction;
  • mileage;
  • capital gains planning;
  • retirement contributions;

These are educational opportunity indicators only. A displayed opportunity does not mean:

  • you are eligible;
  • you qualify;
  • you should take the action;
  • the deduction is allowed;
  • the contribution is deductible;
  • your employer plan permits it;

11. AI-Assisted Features

TaxSaveIQ may offer AI-assisted explanations or summaries now or in the future. AI-assisted content may be:

  • based on incomplete inputs;
  • unsuitable for your situation;

AI outputs are educational only and are not professional advice. You agree not to rely on AI-assisted content as tax, legal, accounting, investment, financial, payroll, benefits, business, or professional advice.

Do not submit Social Security numbers, full tax returns, bank information, medical information, or other highly sensitive data into AI features.

12. CPA Export and Reports

TaxSaveIQ may provide exports, summaries, reports, or downloadable materials for discussion with your CPA or tax professional. These materials are not:

  • tax returns;
  • professional tax opinions;
  • formal workpapers;
  • audit defense documents;
  • legal memoranda;
  • accounting records;
  • financial plans;
  • IRS filings;
  • state filings;

You are responsible for reviewing all exported information before sharing it with any professional.

13. No Guarantee of Results

TaxSaveIQ does not guarantee:

  • tax savings;
  • lower tax liability;
  • refund amounts;
  • IRS acceptance;
  • state agency acceptance;
  • audit protection;
  • penalty avoidance;
  • accuracy of estimates;
  • eligibility for deductions or credits;
  • suitability of strategies;
  • business outcomes;
  • investment outcomes;
  • retirement outcomes;
  • compliance outcomes;

Any references to potential savings are estimates only.

14. No Audit Defense or Tax Representation

TaxSaveIQ does not provide:

  • IRS audit defense;
  • IRS representation;
  • state audit representation;
  • notice response;
  • penalty abatement;
  • appeals representation;
  • collection representation;
  • tax controversy services;
  • legal defense;

If you receive a tax notice, audit notice, penalty notice, or other government communication, contact a qualified tax professional or attorney.

15. Payments and Subscriptions

TaxSaveIQ may offer free and paid features. If paid plans are introduced, pricing, features, billing frequency, renewal terms, cancellation rules, refund rules, and access limits will be disclosed at or before checkout. Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors.

We may change pricing, features, or plans at any time, subject to applicable law and any disclosures made at the time of purchase. Unless otherwise stated, paid subscriptions may renew automatically until canceled. You are responsible for canceling before renewal if you do not want to continue.

16. Refund Policy

Unless otherwise stated at purchase, payments are generally non-refundable after access to digital features has been provided. We may provide refunds at our discretion or where required by law. If a specific paid product or subscription has a different refund policy, that policy will control.

17. Beta, Experimental, and Coming Soon Features

Some features may be labeled as:

  • experimental;
  • coming soon;
  • planned;
  • preview;
  • early access;

Such features may be incomplete, inaccurate, unstable, limited, or removed at any time. We do not guarantee that planned features will be released.

18. Acceptable Use

  • reverse engineer the website;

  • upload malicious code;

If you are a CPA, accountant, tax professional, financial advisor, coach, consultant, bookkeeper, attorney, enrolled agent, or other professional using TaxSaveIQ for client-related purposes, you are solely responsible for:

  • obtaining client authorization;
  • complying with professional rules;
  • complying with privacy laws;
  • protecting client information;
  • verifying all calculations;
  • not relying solely on TaxSaveIQ;
  • ensuring your use is permitted by your licensing, ethical, and contractual obligations;

TaxSaveIQ is not a professional tax workpaper system or secure client document vault.

20. Intellectual Property

TaxSaveIQ, including website design, branding, calculators, code, content, graphics, workflows, reports, text, layouts, user interface, logos, and other materials, is owned by Wealth Building Academy LLC or its licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, license, publicly display, or create derivative works from TaxSaveIQ materials without written permission. You may use calculator outputs for your own personal educational purposes.

21. User Content License

If you submit, enter, upload, save, or transmit information through TaxSaveIQ, you retain ownership of your data.

You grant us a limited license to use, process, store, display, and transmit your submitted information as needed to operate, maintain, improve, secure, and provide TaxSaveIQ. This license is limited to operating and improving the service and complying with legal obligations.

22. Privacy

Your use of TaxSaveIQ is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect information. By using TaxSaveIQ, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

25. Availability and Modifications

We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of TaxSaveIQ at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free access. The website may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, outages, provider issues, cyber incidents, or other causes.

26. Data Loss

Although we may use third-party providers and reasonable safeguards, we do not guarantee that saved scenarios, dashboards, reports, user data, or account data will always be available, accurate, recoverable, or error-free. You should keep your own copies of any important tax or financial information. TaxSaveIQ should not be your only recordkeeping system.

27. Security

You agree to use TaxSaveIQ responsibly and not attempt to compromise the security of the website. You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. No internet-based service can be guaranteed completely secure.

28. Disclaimer of Warranties

TaxSaveIQ is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of:

  • accuracy;
  • completeness;
  • reliability;
  • availability;
  • merchantability;
  • fitness for a particular purpose;
  • non-infringement;

We do not warrant that TaxSaveIQ will meet your requirements or that results will be accurate.

29. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wealth Building Academy LLC, TaxSaveIQ, and their owners, members, managers, employees, contractors, affiliates, agents, representatives, service providers, successors, and assigns shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or other damages arising from or related to:

  • use of TaxSaveIQ;
  • inability to use TaxSaveIQ;
  • inaccurate calculations;
  • incomplete estimates;
  • user input errors;
  • tax law changes;
  • reliance on outputs;
  • saved scenario errors;
  • data loss;
  • account issues;
  • security incidents;
  • third-party service failures;
  • AI-assisted outputs;
  • reports or exports;
  • tax, legal, investment, business, payroll, benefits, or financial decisions;

This limitation applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of damages.

30. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Wealth Building Academy LLC, TaxSaveIQ, and their owners, members, managers, employees, contractors, affiliates, agents, representatives, service providers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to:

  • your use of TaxSaveIQ;
  • your violation of these Terms;
  • your violation of applicable law;
  • your reliance on calculator outputs;
  • your tax, legal, financial, investment, business, payroll, or benefits decisions;
  • your user-submitted information;
  • your misuse of saved scenarios;
  • your professional use of the platform;
  • your violation of another person's rights;

31. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to TaxSaveIQ at any time if:

  • you violate these Terms;
  • you misuse the website;
  • you create legal, security, or operational risk;
  • required by law;
  • we discontinue the service;
  • payment fails for paid features;
  • your use harms us, other users, or third parties;

You may stop using TaxSaveIQ at any time. Certain provisions of these Terms will survive termination, including disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, intellectual property, and dispute terms.

32. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

33. Venue and Jurisdiction

To the maximum extent permitted by law, any dispute arising from or relating to TaxSaveIQ, Wealth Building Academy LLC, or these Terms shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Illinois. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

34. Dispute Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to first contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

35. No Class Actions

36. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. When updated, we will revise the Effective Date. Your continued use of TaxSaveIQ after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using the website.

37. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

38. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.
